Since the dawn of time, life and death is universal, yet existential curiosity prevails. Fargo was inspired by the supernatural power of death itself. And the elusive veil of what death actually is. How would this entity take physical form. The MF conceived "Death Suit" was originally designed for the main protagonist in the sci-fi story of "EXOS" created by Fargo. Closing as the finale piece of the SPRING SUMMER 2016 HAUTE COUTURE COLLECTION.
The coveted "INTRA-EXO Skeletal Death Suit" is engineered at the utmost museum quality. The blue-black shimmer of a sleek metallic textile, fluidly mimics black oil as it moves. Statuesque in form, oversized shoulders exude dominance. A keyhole cutout at the chest; exposes a resin sternum. Individual ribcage bones, each are molded and shaped by hand and contour the torso to create a protruding effect. Long sleeves with cut outs; expose resin bones. The scapula cast of real human bone, contour and protrude. The extreme U shaped open back; expose an MF engineered full Transparent Resin Spine; from C1 to the Sacrum. The hipbones exaggerate the hourglass form and protrude seamlessly in and out of the body, from front to back. Finished with a long rounded train, to give the illusion of stepping out of a pool of oil. A true feat in modern surreal haute couture, a timeless masterpiece of the MILA FARGO | MF ATELIER.
RESIN TRANSPARENT SPINE: Engineered and cast directly from a human spine, each vertebrae of this wearable Art piece is individually articulated for movement with the body. Fargo engineered an invisible locking system; which holds the entire spine together as one fluid functional transparent piece.
RESIN TRANSPARENT SKULL MASK: Engineered and cast directly from a bust of Fargo's own face. The skull was hand sculpted of clay by Fargo himself. Finished and polished with a two tone teal/blush paint and 3 gunmetal snake chains drape the front. Only 3 Acrylic Skull masks were created to be used exclusive for the runway finale.
