Mila Fargo is a Spanish-American; Artist/Designer, Director and Music Composer. Hailing from Los Angeles California, Fargo's haute couture designs have been worn by actors, musicians, pop icons and influencers; Britney Spears, Ruby Rose, Tom Hardy, Jenna Ortega and Carmen Electra. Most notably the Iconic pop princess Britney Spears music video ( I Wanna Go ). And the Academy Awards 'Oscars' at the W Hotel in Hollywood. Fargo is the youngest in the family and has been surrounded by the fashion industry since birth. Fargo's mother, Sarah was a couturier/dressmaker, creating leather fashions for the queen of pop Madonna in the mid 1980's and later for the Walt Disney Company. Fargo's father created swimsuits for legendary designer Betsey Johnson. MF elaborates "Fashion is Embedded in my blood, in our family DNA, tracing far back to my family lineage to my great grandmother". Growing up Fargo took to the Arts naturally and showed an early aptitude, winning coveted awards for works of Art in college. At 18, Fargo left conventional school; to devote himself entirely to the Arts. Thus, honing into the cultivation of his craft. While Fargo is self-taught, he went on to achieve a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design, fine art and music at SMC of California. Fargo's Artwork ranging from oil paintings to graphic designs have been exclusively exhibited in influential gallery instillation's throughout Los Angeles and the U.S.
2012: Under the newly formed MF Atelier. Fargo debuted his first line of RTW | EcoLuxe T-Shirts. For Spring Summer 2012 entitled 'ARTCYNIC' a play on words; Art, arsenic/poison. Fargo's unorthodox views on ( Society, Pop-culture, Art and Science ) Symbolic themes of the MF luxury brand/house. Fargo coined the term 'ECOLUXE' in Ready to wear; environmentally conscious luxury clothing made of 100% organic cottons, hemp and sustainable fabrics. A new collection for every season, with limited edition designs. Notably the iconic original 'Mouse Decay' Mickey Mouse Skull T- Shirt, which debuted first on pop icon Britney Spears in the music video: "I Wanna Go" as a customized crop top exclusively for the video and album cover single. Also featured in MF's first directed avant-garde fashion film "Mouse Decay" . Featuring models wearing the iconic mickey skull shirt and mickey ears dripping in black oil. Inspiring many brands and artists to follow suit with knock off's of the design and style. It was also later featured in gaming series and commercials.
NOW: Fargo is producing his latest vision set for FALL 2025 TBA. Including a range from RTW to Haute Couture collections for SUMMER 2026. Including new jewelry, shoes and handbags. Fargo elaborates: "Every show I produce, will be bigger than my last. A visceral perspective, a feast for the senses. Experimentation as an artist is vital, my focus is always fixed on the future and reinvention. It's inherent to my philosophy and lifestyle. No one has a clue what's coming" - M.FARGO
